Mediation
What is Mediation?
Mediation of family law matters is a method of resolving conflict that offers parties the opportunity to negotiate an agreement for themselves in a supportive environment with the guidance of a neutral third party trained and experienced in conflict resolution.
Mediation can shorten the process and consequently reduce the cost. In addition, mediated agreements are generally more effective because people find it easier to maintain agreements that they themselves have created compared to solutions imposed from the outside by judges.
